Otranto is the easternmost town in Italy — on a clear day you can see Albania across the strait. This 5 km walk circles the beaches, the walled old town, the Cathedral with its famous 12th-century Tree of Life floor mosaic and the Chapel of the 800 Martyrs, the Aragonese Castle, and the Byzantine church of San Pietro, ending on the long sandy beaches across the bay. Filmed on a hot market Sunday during the monthly Otranto Antiqua antiques market.
